Cheese and Bacon Frittata – Amish Recipe
Cheese and Bacon Frittata
Ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 green onion or a bit of onion, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
Directions:
Beat eggs, milk, onion, butter, salt, and pepper until well blended.
Pour into greased 9-inch square pan.
Sprinkle with cheese and bacon.
Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
Note: for a double batch, use a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 375° for about 40 minutes.
Yield: 4-6 servings
